🥢向製餅老師傅致敬,種福園斤餅牛肉店 Comfort foods based on Old chef’s hands at Zhongfuyuan Restaurant , Taipei

這是我衷心希望這個城市能留下來的味道...

大概有兩、三年,每次用餐時間經過種福園斤餅牛肉店,都想起這家店裡那些老味道,但最後都沒有走進去,反而在附近令人眼花撩亂卻不見得好吃的新餐廳吃飯。

We knew Zhongfuyuan Restaurant served great foods in Taipei for many years. But we didn’t go to this restaurant for dinner for years.

We were so greed that we always wanted to try something new for dinner. And most of these new restaurants gave us disappointed results.

上周五,我們看著門口製餅老師傅硬朗的身影,終於下定決心重溫舊夢。

Last Friday,we’re tired of disappointed results. And we finally decided to have our dinner at Zhongfuyuan Restaurant.

這才醒悟,我們早該回來吃飯了。

Then we realized that we should back for dinner earlier.

招牌韭黃合菜戴帽,一點點高湯提味,粉絲、木耳、干絲、蛋皮、韭黃,全都像久違的老友,此起彼落地在嘴裡打起招呼,幾乎沒有一樣食材不好吃。

Zhongfuyuan Restaurant served one of the best omelet with fried dishes in Taipei which included every tasty ingredients you could imagine in Taiwan.

京醬肉絲在種福園特製的醬料下,平凡的豬肉絲激發強大的食慾;清燉牛肉湯則像個內力深厚的武學高手,貌不起眼,卻能一入口就將你擊倒。

The dish, fried pork slices with special sauce would give you great appetite. And they also served good beef soup.

但最令人著迷的還是卅五元台幣一份的斤餅,似軟還韌,不管包了那一樣菜,都在唇齒間留下柔勁。

They served fascinating handmade pan cake costs only USD 1.16. You could wrap any dish they served with this delicious food.

嚼著美味斤餅,望著製餅老師傅堅毅姿勢,我竟莫名其妙擔心起餐廳傳承。

As I chewed the delicious handmade pan cake, I looked the old chef and started to worry about the legacy of the food.

臨走時,正是有許多客人進來的尖峰時刻,我向著門口玻璃房內製餅老師傅,微微欠身半鞠躬表示敬意,他豪邁地向我揮了一下手說再見。

I bowed to the old chef next to the door of the restaurant showing some respect and he waived his hand to say goodbye to me.

這是我衷心希望這個城市能留下來的味道。

It’s the kind of food I wished it could last forever in this city.
